Red Bush is a popular macro algae found within the aquarium industry. As it is in the Gracilaria family, it works well to remove nitrogen and phosphate. It thrives in moderate light and loves good water flow. New growth will be upright and branching and should not be kept in a tank with herbivorous fish as it is quite palatable.
